The problem

The HVAC system at Caltex, Cluden was poorly installed and under-designed for the conditions, causing malfunctions and leading to a partial failure. The system failed to regulate temperature and humidity effectively, resulting in significant mould issues throughout the store and posing a serious health risk to staff and customers.

our solution

We removed the existing HVAC system entirely and replaced it with an new, engineer-designed system designed to exceed the standard requirements and control the high humidity levels prevalent in that area. We also installed an airlock at the main entry to help maintain internal conditions and improve efficiency of the system overall. Mould-damaged sections of the building were removed, treated and rebuilt like for like to restore the property and prevent any structural or health issues in the future.

the result

The project was completed successfully, on time and within budget. The high-quality system and components used will last for many years and provide optimum air conditioning despite the harsh conditions. The building was completely restored in the process and the client was extremely happy with the end result.
